job description

•Ensure the day-to-day procurement of goods and services in an efficient and cost effective manner

•Knowledge of procurement policies and standards of quality of service, as well as legal considerations and donor requirements

•Ability to handle local and international procurement process to ensure a timely supply of goods and service

•Knowledge of vendor management, record keeping and reporting

•Prepare, process and monitor consultancy contracts

•Ensure prompt processing of consultancy requests following established procedures


job requrrements

•A minimum qualification of Bachelor’s degree and or HND in Supply Chain Management

•A member of Procurement professional body such as CIPS, ISM, MGIPS etc will be an added advantage.

•At least 5 years proven work experience in procurement work

•Ability to exercise independent judgement and work without supervision

•Excellent analytical skill, good written and oral communication skills

•Proficient in the use of Microsoft applications such as; Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook

•Good knowledge of Procurement systems, practices, policies and procedures

•Ability to multitask and work within deadlines

•Good interpersonal and presentation skills.

•Strong sense of urgency and work ethic
