- Reports to the Sales Manager and the office of the Managing Director
- Present, promote and sell a range of products; mostly IT equipment to existing and prospective customers by using solid arguments
- Responsible to achieve revenue/profit plan
- Identify customer requirements, determine best solution, present proposal, while ensuring customer concurrence throughout the entire implementation process.
- Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing and potential customers to meet their needs
- Conduct sales calls, demonstrations, presentations and maintain prospect activity into sale into sales cycle tracking processes.
- Submit report on daily activities and visits to Supervisor
- Submit an accurate forecast monthly report (above 75% accuracy)
- Establish, develop and maintain positive customer relationships
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximise satisfaction
- Achieve sales targets within schedule
- Analyse market potential, track sales and status reports
- Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products.
- Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
- Previous Experience in selling VOIP devices, system integration, Document Management systems and other IT devices will be an added advantage
